MERAUKE, SOUTH PAPUA – The South Papua Provincial Government will open registration for Civil Servant Candidates with an acceptance quota of 1,000 people on August 19, 2024.
Acting Governor of South Papua, Rudy Sufahriadi said of this number, 80 percent for indigenous Papuans and 20 percent for non-Papuans, “we try to maximize the indigenous Papuans here first who are accommodated and the interests of the people of South Papua we accommodate first, hopefully this is a golden opportunity and this is good news to the people here, we will do our best to serve the community so that 1,000 Civil Servant Candidates can be useful for the community,” Rudy said in the VIP Room of Mopah Merauke Airport, Friday (16/8/2024).
The stages of selection of Civil Servant Candidates as stated in the letter of the State Personnel Agency (BKN) Number 5419/B-KS.04.01/SD/K/2024 dated August 13, 2024 and the letter of the State Personnel Agency is based on the Decree of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 293 of 2024 concerning Determination of Civil Servant Needs within Government Agencies.
In the letter of the State Personnel Agency Number 5419 signed by the Acting Head of the State Personnel Agency, Haryono Dwi Putranto, it is stated that the selection schedule for the procurement of Civil Servant Candidates for the 2024 fiscal year starts from August 19 to September 2, 2024 with the selection announcement stage and then from August 20 to September 6, 2024 the selection registration stage will be carried out and then from August 20 to September 13, 2024 followed by the administrative selection stage.
The announcement of the administrative selection results is carried out from September 14 to 17, 2024. The next selection stages are carried out in stages as stipulated until the announcement of the results of the selection of Civil Servant Candidates on January 5 to 12, 2025.
Rudy Sufahriadi added that the allocation of 80 percent of Papuan and 20 percent non-Papuan Civil Servant Candidates is a Regional Government policy in the recruitment of 2024 formation civil servants, it is said that after acceptance, the new State Civil Apparatus has worked and Government infrastructure has been built, the local government will conduct a study to find out whether the Human Resources of civil servants are still lacking or have been fulfilled, “that is what we will study after 1.000 people work in the new building or the Government office is built and then we will study it, if it is lacking, of course we have to ask for an increase in the allocation of the State Civil Apparatus, but if it is sufficient, let us together maximize the performance of Government work,” said Rudy.
Albert Rapammi, Head of the South Papua Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency, said that the selection of Civil Servant Candidates in South Papua will be adjusted to the schedule issued by the State Civil Service Agency and related to the registration process whether carried out online or directly in the region, the South Papua Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency is coordinating with the Regional State Civil Service Agency, “The State Civil Service Agency of the Republic of Indonesia has officially determined the schedule and selection of Civil Servant Candidates in 2024 and for South Papua Province, received 1,000 allocations of Civil Servant Candidates with details of 950 technical formations and 50 for health workers. For the composition of 950 technical personnel received consists of 350 graduates of Advanced High School, 500 graduates of Bachelor Degree, 7 graduates of Bachelor Degree and while the rest are graduates of Diploma Two, Diploma Three and Diploma Four,” Albert said.
