JAYAPURA – Astra Motor Papua as a Honda Motorcycle Main Dealer for the Papua region again received an award from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) as one of the companies that actively supports social activities in the health sector.
This award was given for Astra Motor Papua’s contribution in organizing routine blood donor activities that have helped PMI meet blood needs in Papua and surrounding areas.
In the submission of the Admin and Fin Manager of Astra Motor Papua, Bagas Fensanarko expressed his gratitude for this award. Of course, the hope of Astra Motor Papua is to continue to be committed to running social programs that provide benefits to the community.
“We are honored by the award given by PMI. Our participation in humanitarian activities, including blood donation, is part of our corporate social responsibility. We hope to continue working together with PMI to help people in need,” said Bagas.
PMI Jayapura, through its representatives, gave an award directly to Astra Motor Papua representatives. This award was given for the company’s efforts in supporting the availability of blood stock in Jayapura. During the event, Astra Motor Papua managed to collect 17 blood bags from employees who donated, emphasizing the company’s real contribution to the health needs of the community.
“Hopefully with this award, our relationship and synergy with PMI can continue to run well for public health. In addition, we hope to further motivate other parties to support public health programs through blood donation and other humanitarian actions,” Bagas concluded.
