According to him, this Christmas is the moment of the birth of the Savior who brings light and peace to the world. With the theme “Let Us Now Go to Bethlehem”, Bethlehem is considered a symbol of humility and simplicity. The place where the Savior came to give hope to all humanity in Central Papua.

“Christmas is not just an annual tradition, but more than that, it is an opportunity for us to share love and joy with others. Let us use this moment to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas,” he said.

He prayed that the peace and joy of Christmas will not only be felt today, but will continue to flow in life. The joy of Christmas becomes a blessing to the family, the church, and the surrounding community.

This Christmas celebration is a momentum to strengthen the spirit of togetherness and unity among the people of Central Papua who are blessed with cultural richness and diversity.

“Let us make this Christmas celebration a call to serve each other, love others, and work together to realize a peaceful, advanced, and prosperous Central Papua,” he added.

Christmas, according to Anwar, reminds the importance of sharing love and blessings with others. As the great love of Christ should be an example for all to love each other, forgive regardless of background and differences.
