ASMAT – The Government of South Papua Province, Asmat Regent visited the construction site of a solar power plant in Jurat District, specifically Yamas Village and Yeni Village. The goal is to ensure the completion of the PLN project can be done in accordance with the specifications and contracts. Then it must be in accordance with the quality, because it can be ensured that it can benefit the community in the Jurat district, Asmat Regency, South Papua Province.

This small step has a big impact on Asmat residents, because lighting in this region is very minimal. The Asmat Regent also said that this project was taken from APBN funds through PT PLN. The Regent also expects the contractor working on this power plant project to be responsible in order to complete the project on time and not be negligent.

So with good quality, PT PLN is also expected to conduct inspections or monitoring to ensure the smooth running of this project. The Asmat Regent appealed to the people of Jorat district to keep the district safe and participate in the construction of this power plant.

In one of the visits to the solar power plant construction project, the Asmat regent also gave directions to the Yamas and Yeni communities to always maintain security and order and to protect the health workers on duty in the Jorat district. By working hand in hand to build this solar power if all parties work well together, the realization of this project will have a positive impact.

Asmat residents no longer need to worry about lack of electricity and they will certainly feel the benefits for their daily lives. Considering that it is already 2024, it is unfair if they are still plagued by darkness due to lack of electrical energy. Therefore, the Asmat Regent is speeding up and going directly to the field to help and monitor the project.

That’s a small step of PLN electricity lighting in Asmat Regency, South Papua Province, which has a big impact on the community.
