WEST PAPUA DAYA – Rudolof Yanto Basna, S.Pd, M.Pd. born June 12, 1995 is an Indonesian professional soccer player who currently plays for Thai League 1 club PT Prachuap.

On January 5, 2020, Basna was officially introduced as a PT Prachuap player and two days later Basna made his first team debut and scored his first goal for the club and in a 1-0 win against Port, on March 17, 2021 Basna scored his first league goal for PT Prachuap with his right-foot volley in a 1-0 win against Muangthong United, Basna helped his team finish 10th in the league with 19 appearances and 1 goal, Basna missed most of the matches due to injury and on June 2, 2021, Basna renewed his contract with the club for an undisclosed duration and on January 5, 2022 it was announced that Basna had quit PT Prachuap as his contract with the club had expired.

On April 21, 2022, Bhayangkara COO Sumardji confirmed that Basna had signed a two-year contract with the club, after expiring his contract with Bhayangkara FC, Basna joined Kalteng Putra who competed in the 2023-2024 Indonesian Liga 3 where he only played 8x matches, because he did not play many minutes Basna finally returned to PT Prachuap after receiving the blessing of Kalteng Putra and made his second debut on April 6, 2024 in a 0-1 defeat against Buriram United.

In his National career, Yanto Basna in 2014 represented the Indonesia U-19 national team and in the 2014 AFC U-19 Championship, on September 6, 2016 Basna made his debut in the senior team, in a 3-0 win against Malaysia, Basna was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2016 AFF Championship, Basna fell out of favor with new coach Luis Milla, thus making him miss international matches in the period between 2017 and 2018. Basna regained his place in the National team after being selected by Simon McMenemy for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Basna played his first match since 2016 and on the second matchday of the World Cup qualifier against Thailand where Indonesia lost 3-0 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, on November 19, 2019, Basna first captained the team against Malaysia on the fifth matchday of the World Cup qualifier playing away at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Indonesia lost 2-0, Basna was blamed for the goal and his captaincy was questioned by supporters, interim coach Yeyen Tumena admitted that Indonesian players were mentally down, as they had lost all 4 qualifying matches, he stated, three senior players refused to be captain and follow the press conference and the coach admitted Basna was the only player willing to be captain.

In his personal life, Yanto Basna was accepted as an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University with the help of a scholarship collaboration between the local campus and the Indonesian Football Association along with his colleagues in the Indonesian U-19 National Team who won the 2013 AFF U-19 Championship, although the collaboration stopped due to changes in the management of the Indonesian Football Association and many of his colleagues resigned due to distance, cost, and time constraints, Yanto Basna and several other colleagues continued their studies at their own expense and Yanto Basna finally earned a Bachelor of Education (S.Pd) after passing the online thesis exam on July 19, 2020 and continuing his education to the Masters Program S2 until he successfully earned a Masters in Education (M.Pd) in July 2023.
