Price of 2-Daily Branded Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets in Papua Province in the Last Month Increased by 0.91%

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily price of 2 brands of cooking oil in traditional markets in Papua province was recorded at IDR 22.15 thousand. This price looks unchanged compared to the previous day as well as in the past week.

As for the price in the last month, the development of the price of 2 daily branded cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from the previous price of IDR 21.95 thousand.

Meanwhile, the price of 2 daily branded cooking oil in traditional markets in the last three months in Papua has increased by 1.37% from the previous price of Rp21.85 thousand.

The record increase in the price of 2 daily branded cooking oil in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2022 with an increase of 23.86% and the lowest decline was recorded in May 2022 with a decrease of -18.06%.

As for PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic necessities (sembako) today in Papua recorded as many as seven commodities fell and 14 others rose. The commodities with falling prices are Curly Red Chili, Big Red Chili, Rice, Lower Quality Rice I, Lower Quality Rice II, Medium Quality Rice I and Medium Quality Rice II.
