Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Training is one of the superior programs launched by the Regional Government in Papua Province. The community’s ability to entrepreneurship is continuously developed to create independence in an effort to improve living standards and economic conditions. The environment is one of the factors that has a big influence in creating entrepreneurs with superior abilities. For this reason, several interested parties in Papua are trying to build an environment containing potential entrepreneurs so they can continue running the businesses they run. Environmental formation starts from the smallest level and also targets young business people, including those who are still in school. The potential of students who are still studying at the high school level is a concern for local governments to provide all kinds of assistance that can support their entrepreneurial abilities.

The economic potential that exists among Vocational High School students began to be seen at the Vocational High School alumni meeting in Papua Province. Apart from alumni meetings, there are various series of events involving students who still hold student status at the school. One of the activities is the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises bazaar which contains sales of craft and culinary products from students at the school. When alumni held a Job Fair to encourage students to start thinking about the future by opening up job opportunities, the school compensated by providing entrepreneurship knowledge for students who had the talent to do business independently. The school, assisted by alumni and also the local government, provided facilities to support this event.

A variety of products are offered in the bazaar. Starting from unique handicrafts which are the result of students’ learning based on their cultural background and there are also those who sell food and drinks of their own production. The Regent and Deputy Regent were also present to open the series of events as well as help enliven and promote the ongoing event. The attendees who attended the event tried various products on offer. Starting from food such as shredded meat and cassava chips to buying handicraft souvenirs.

The environment built at Vocational High School is not only created to encourage students to be ready to continue into the world of work, where there is a Job Fair with various job vacancies ready to accommodate when students have finished their education. However, an entrepreneurial environment operating in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector is also being formed. Students are free to choose their own work after finishing school. So that the talents of all students find a place to achieve success in the future. The standard of living and economic level will also improve because students have had the opportunity to show their talents, both for work and entrepreneurship.
