JAYAPURA – The Nabire Regency Government continues to be committed to developing places of worship in this area. This time, the Nabire Regency Government channeled development fund assistance to the GKI Talitakumi Waharia Congregation, East Nabire Chassis, Nabire, Central Papua.

Central Papua Secretary, Piter Erari said, the assistance was a promise of faith. “So representing the government, today I symbolically hand over the assistance to the congregation here,” said Piter.

Meanwhile, the nominal amount of financial assistance provided was IDR 1 billion. According to Piter, the assistance was also not only distributed to the congregation, but also to several other churches. “Like at the Iktus Congregation, and that has been realized,” he said.

In addition, the financial assistance will also target other congregations. “And now it is in process,” he said.

In addition, according to Piter, the government is the representative of God, so providing assistance to every believer is mandatory. “So this is not only a church, but also to other places of worship the government also provides assistance,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the GKI Talitakumi Waharia Church Construction, Alex Raiki, said that the congregation, assembly, and committee were very grateful for the assistance that had been given. “May God always bless the Nabire Regency Government,” he said.

With this assistance, the congregation and the committee will discuss the use of this assistance. “So that all development processes can also run as we hope together,” he concluded.
