Southwest Papua – The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) began construction of flats for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Southwest Papua Provincial Government on Jalan Sorong-Klamono Km.16, Klablim Village, Klaurung District, Sorong City.
Acting Governor of Southwest Papua Muhammad Musa’ad, in Sorong, Friday, explained that this flat was built for the benefit of ASN and the Regional Center of the Ministry of PUPR to support the activities of the Southwest Papua Provincial Government.
“This is a positive step for the Southwest Papua Provincial Government to support office activities,” he said. He said, this flat will also be occupied by the Regional Hall of the Ministry of PUPR in this region.
Previously, the Southwest Papua Provincial Government and the Ministry of PUPR carried out the groundbreaking of the flat construction by involving local traditional leaders on September 5, 2024.
“After the groundbreaking of the flat construction, it will soon be followed by preparations for the construction of offices for the Southwest Papua Provincial Government,” he said. He expressed his gratitude to the President, the Ministry of PUPR, and the Ministry of Home Affairs for their support for the construction of flats in Southwest Papua Province.
Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto explained that the flat built is type 36 with a capacity of 1 three-story tower, then inside there are 44 units consisting of two bedrooms, one living room, one bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room.
“If in accordance with the contract until July 2025 or 300 calendar days. I ask my friends to finish it quickly,” he said. He said that the construction of this flat cost Rp 110 billion and was carried out by the implementing contractor PT Nindya Karya.
