Indonesian Papua Hunting And Shooting Association Releases 14 Papuan Athletes Passing The XXI Aceh – North Sumatra National Sports Week 2024

JAYAPURA | PAPUA – The Indonesian Hunting and Shooting Association Papua released 14 athletes from Bumi Cenderawasih passed the Minimum Qualification Score (MQS) and are ready to appear at the XXI National Sports Week in Aceh-North Sumatra in 2024. “Perbakin Papua athletes have passed the Minimum Qualification Score (MQS) as many as 14 people and are ready to go to the XXI National Sports Week in Aceh-North Sumatra in 2024,” said Nanik, Deputy Secretary of Pengprov Perbakin Papua.

Shooting sports apply the Minimum Qualification Score (MQS) system to determine shooters who are entitled to appear in the National Sports Week and each athlete has the opportunity to meet the Minimum Qualification Score that has been determined in several qualifying round events and as many as 14 Perbakin Papua Snipers have undergone training camps independently for two years in Jakarta and West Java.

Indonesian Hunting and Shooting Association Papua athletes are just waiting for the determination of the quota from PB Perbakin which is planned to be determined in September-October. A number of Perbakin Papua athletes have participated in various national championships that are independently financed by Pengprov and they have made achievements in the Championships that have been followed since 2022.

Here are the achievements made by Perbakin Papua athletes:

1. National Shooting Championship Perbakin Anniversary 2022 in Jakarta

  • Slamet Riadi 1st Gold Medalist, Score 109 (MQS 70.0) Trap competition number.
  • Andreas Yunut Boki 2nd Silver Medalist, Trap event.

2. National Shooting Championship Haornas 2022 in Jakarta

  • Chuwaizam 3rd Bronze Medalist, number 10 Running target score 530 (MQS 525).
  • Nourma Try Indriani 2nd Silver Medalist, number 10 M Running target score 550 (MQS 520).

3. 2022 Interprov National Shooting Championship

  • Fanny Febriana Wulandari 1st Gold Medalist, Trap Score – 106.
  • Fanny Febriana Wulandari 2nd Silver Medalist, Skeet Women (MQS – 65) Score 90, (MQS – 55).
  • Sarmunah 3rd Bronze Medalist, Skeet Score – 69.
  • Nourma Try Indriani 2nd Silver Medalist, 10 Running target score – 528 (MQS – 520).
  • Nourma Try Indriani 1st Gold Medalist, number 10 Running target mixed score – 359 (MQS – 320).
  • Slamet Riadi 1st Gold Medalist, Trap Man number.

4. National Shooting Championship KASAU Cup 2023, May 1 – 7 in Jakarta

  • Maria Bonay 3rd Bronze Medalist, score – 559 (MQS – 549).
  • Nourma Try Indriani 1st Gold Medalist, 10 meters Running Target score – 546.
  • Nourma Try Indriani 1st Gold Medalist, 10 meters Running Target mixed score – 360.

5. National Shooting Championship Danjen Kopassus Shooting Champions 2023 in Solo

  • Maria Bonay 1st Gold Medalist score – 570.
  • Rendy Febriana Erysha 3rd place bronze medal, score – 551.

6. National Shooting Championship Jabar Open 2023, June 14 – 22

  • Carlelis Manusama 2nd Silver Medalist, 25 Meter Pistol.
  • Andreas Yunut Boki 1st Gold Medalist, trap number score – 100.
  • Fanny Febriana Wulandari 2nd Silver Medalist, Trap score – 94 and 1st Gold Medalist, Skeet score – 76.

7. National Shooting Championship Chief of Police Cup 2023, July 7-14 in Jakarta

  • Carlelis Manusama 1st Gold Medalist, 25 meter Pistol Women.
  • Maria Bonay 2nd Silver Medalist, 10 meter Air Pistol Women.
  • Nourma Try Indriani 1st Gold Medalist, 10 meter Running Target score – 560, and Silver Medalist, 10 meter Running Target mixed.
  • Chuwaizam 3rd Bronze Medal winner, 10 meters Running Target Men.
