SPORT – Born in Jayapura, Papua, July 15 1998, is a professional Indonesian futsal player and has a left-footed kick. Before pursuing a career as a professional futsal player, this player whose zodiac sign was Cancer studied at the Persipura Jayapura junior football academy. However, because he preferred futsal, Runtuboy chose to become a professional futsal player, and Papua continues to produce talented talents in the sports arena, one of which is Ardiansyah Runtuboy who is a futsal star for the Indonesian National Team and his current club Bintang Timur Surabaya (BTS ). Ardiansyah Runtuboy has actually been heard in the last few years in the Indonesian futsal world. Runtuboy is a Jayapura-born Pearl who shocked Indonesian futsal when he was in his teens or in high school.
Runtuboy’s was heard when he succeeded in bringing his school team at SMA 4 Jayapura to victory in the competition between students in 2024. Since then he has been sought after by Pro Futsal League clubs, and his first club was FC Libido Surabaya in 2014, one season with FC Libido Surabaya, Runtuboy returned to his hometown club and joined Blacksteel Manokwari in 2015, a club from Papua. With Blacksteel Manokwari Runtuboy led the club to win the 2016 Pro Futsal League and became the best player in the tournament, in the following season Ardiansyah Runtuboy again won the individual title “Top Score Pro Futsal League 2017” and Runtuboy with Blacksteel Manokwari from 2015-2019, in 2020 Runtuboy joined a club from Surabaya which is currently on the rise, Bintang Timur Surabaya (BTS) until now.
His good performance at the Blacksteel Manokwari club was the first time that Runtuboy was called up to the Indonesian National Futsal Team and because of his consistency in his play, Runtuboy has been a regular in the Indonesian National Futsal Team squad to date. Runtuboy once brought the Indonesian U-20 Futsal National Team to the Asian Continent level, it’s called U-20 Asian Cup in 2017, but the Indonesian U-20 National Team’s efforts failed in the quarter-finals after losing 2-4 to Thailand. Runtuboy has experienced the AFF Futsal Cup five times. In 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022, but Runtuboy has never tasted a trophy from the Inter-State Futsal event in Southeast Asia and Ardiansyah Runtuboy has also participated in the 2021 XX Papua PON event.
