Nabire, Papua – Rosalina Rerek Sogen, a female teacher from Flores, NTT, turned out to have lost her life to be persecuted by the KKB while helping her colleague who was also a victim.
At least 10 teachers were victims in the KKB attack in the Anggruk district, Yahukimo on Friday (21/3/2025). The KKB also burned school buildings to teachers’ housing.
The victim, Rosalina Rerek Sogen, was found dead with terrible injuries. Meanwhile, four victims suffered minor injuries and three others were seriously injured and two victims were in safe condition and were Yahukimo natives.
The victims were educators who were in charge of providing educational services in the interior of Papua.
