Timika – The Mimika Regency Government has issued regional regulations (Perda) related to minimum wages and sectoral minimum wages.
Pj Bupati Mimika, Valentinus Sudarjanto Sumito through a circular letter dated December 18, 2024 in accordance with the Decree of the Governor of Central Papua Number 258 of 2024 dated December 16, 2024 concerning the determination of the minimum wage and sectoral minimum wage of Mimika Regency in 2025, it is announced as follows:
- The minimum wage of Mimika Regency in 2025 is Rp 5,005,678 (five million five thousand six hundred seventy eight rupiah) per month, an increase of 6.5% or Rp 305,510.00 (three hundred five thousand five hundred ten rupiah) from the minimum wage of Mimika Regency in 2024.
- The construction sectoral minimum wage of Mimika Regency in 2025 is Rp 5,130,819.00 (five million one hundred thirty thousand eight hundred nineteen rupiah) per month, an increase of 2.5% or Rp 125,141.00 (one hundred twenty-five thousand one hundred forty-one rupiah) from the minimum wage of Mimika Regency in 2024.
- The mining sectoral minimum wage for Mimika Regency in 2025 of Rp 6,000,000.00 (six million rupiah) per month is 19.8% or Rp 994,322.00 (nine hundred ninety-four thousand three hundred twenty-two rupiah) higher than the minimum wage for Mimika Regency in 2024.
The minimum wage and sectoral minimum wage of Mimika Regency will come into effect on January 1, 2025.
