Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin believes that Sharia Economy will become a new pillar and be accepted by the global community

SORONG, WEST PAPUA – Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin emphasized that sharia economy and finance is not a concept that is only intended for Muslims and according to him this practice has been widely accepted by all circles of society because of its inclusive nature and prioritizes justice, even in the global order, the Vice President noted, countries with non-Muslim majority populations have actually reaped opportunities and benefits from the rapid development of Islamic economics and finance, for example, Brazil, Australia, and Thailand are leading the export of halal food products. South Korea and Japan have also consistently developed Muslim-friendly tourism, and the UK has made its country the center of the Islamic financial market,” the Vice President said.
