Pertamina Patra Niaga Holds Promo Buy Bright Gas Free Gas Stove at Jayapura Cheap Market Movement Event

JAYAPURA, PAPUA – Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku held a buy Bright Gas free Gas Stove promo at the Papua Provincial Governor’s Office, Jayapura, Friday (2/8/2024). The promo was presented in conjunction with the Cheap Market Movement activities promoted by the Papua Provincial Government in order to welcome the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

Area Manager Comm, Rail and CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku, Edi Mangun assessed that the activities that have been carried out are one of the ways Pertamina as part of a State-Owned Enterprise in supporting the Government’s efforts to improve the economy of the community and surrounding Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, “with this Cheap Market Movement can be one way to control inflation in Papua, therefore we strongly support this activity to be carried out regularly,” said Edi Mangun.

In this Cheap Market Movement, there are various foodstuffs and staples that are sold at prices much cheaper than the market. Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku also provided 5,000 liters of kerosene to be given to the community, “according to instructions from the Government we provide 5,000 liters of kerosene to meet the needs of the people in Jayapura,” said Edi Mangun.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku also opened a sales booth for Bright Gas 5.5 kg and 12 kg products, “we also opened a Bright Gas sales booth, where every purchase of Bright Gas gets a new Gas Stove for free, for the price of Bright Gas 5.5 kg costs 400 thousand, while Bright Gas 12 kg is 615 thousand,” said Edi Mangun.

Edi Mangun hopes that there will be a role from various stakeholders to participate in the Cheap Market Movement, “at this time the wheels of the economy are starting to slowly move in a good direction, and it is hoped that the role of various stakeholders to enliven this activity in order to help the community to get food and basic necessities at lower prices so that this activity is a concrete step to control the inflation rate,” said Edi Mangun.
