SORONG, WEST PAPUA – The Sorong State Wealth and Auction Service Office held a Stakeholder Performance Dialogue and Awarding of Anugerah Reksa Bandha Year 2024 at the State Finance Building in Sorong, Southwest Papua. This activity is an annual activity carried out by the Sorong State Wealth and Auction Service Office with the aim of submitting an overview of the achievements of the Sorong State Wealth and Auction Service Office in 2023 and receiving input from stakeholders for service improvement in 2024.
Present as invited guests were members of the Steering Committee for the Acceleration of the Development of Special Autonomy for Papua, Southwest Papua, Otto Ilhalauw, Head of the West Papua Representative of the Ministry of Finance and Head of the West Papua Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, Purwadi Adi Putranto, Head of the Sorong Sub-Representative of the Ministry of Finance and Head of the Papua Regional Office of the Directorate General of Special Customs, Bagus Nugroho Tamtomo Putro and leaders of work units in West Papua and Southwest Papua Provinces.
The key note speech of the activity was delivered by the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of State Assets of Papua, West Papua and Maluku, Wibawa Pram Sihombing, who said that the Performance Dialogue aims to equalize perceptions and make strategic designs, dialogue to achieve common goals in 2024, not only from the side of service providers or owners of strategic performance maps, but also from the side of stakeholders in the West Papua and Southwest Papua regions.
The opening of the event was carried out by beating Tifa by Ir. Edison Siagian, ME, as Acting Regional Secretary of Southwest Papua Province representing the Acting Governor of Southwest Papua Province. Edison in his speech, gave appreciation to the Sorong State Wealth and Auction Service Office for organizing a dialogue forum for performance improvement. The Southwest Papua Regional Government is fully committed to supporting all activities that intend to advance the land of Papua in the form of the responsibilities of the duties and functions of the Sorong State Wealth and Auction Service Office.
The age of the Southwest Papua Provincial Government is still very young, the Provincial Government continues to make efforts to accelerate the implementation of government and development in Southwest Papua Province, including completing regulations with a total of approximately 40 Governor Regulations and more than 100 Governor Decrees. The Southwest Papua Provincial Government has produced planning documents such as the Regional Apparatus Work Plan, regional development plans until 2026, preliminary drafts of the Regional Long-Term Development Plan, preliminary plans for regional spatial planning including preparing the State Implementation Assets Report and inaugurating the Leadership of the Papuan People’s Assembly of Southwest Papua Province which is a cultural representation to accommodate the interests of indigenous Papuans.
The Southwest Papua Provincial Government can establish sustainable synergies with the Sorong State Wealth and Auction Service Office, the synergy is also expected to be formed with all units of the Ministry of Finance as the representative of the Central Government with the Southwest Papua Provincial Government and all City or Regency Governments in the Southwest Papua Province area.
