Central Papua Province as one of the newest provinces in the Republic of Indonesia which was established due to the inauguration of Special Autonomy throughout the Papua region is currently intensively carrying out development. Various facilities have been built to maximize all the potential in the New Autonomous Region. One of the facilities built is flats for State Civil Apparatus assigned to all areas of Central Papua Province. The presence of State Civil Apparatus from all regions in Indonesia is the impact of the policy of inaugurating this new province so that of course it requires a lot of workers to take on roles in government and provide services to the community. Thus, the central government through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing facilitates all the needs of State Civil Apparatus assigned to the New Autonomous Region, especially livable housing facilities so that they as newcomers feel at home living and will maximize their potential in their work.
The purpose of building flats for State Civil Apparatus is not only to provide facilities but also to implement one of the development goals, namely equitable development. The existence of these flats can provide a place to live that is close to government offices, making it easier to access the workplace and also maximize public services for the community. A positive domino effect is expected from the construction of flats given to State Civil Apparatus who are mostly immigrants in Papua.
The flats that are built are also equipped with various complete furniture so that it is easy for the residents to carry out their daily activities. The plan for the construction of flats will be completed in 2025 and will be immediately usable by State Civil Apparatus who serve in Central Papua Province. In addition to building flats, the long-term plan made by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is to build government offices close to the location of the flats. Thus, the State Civil Apparatus feel that their welfare is being taken care of when they are far from their home areas.
The hope of the community regarding the construction of flats for State Civil Apparatus who serve in Central Papua Province is that the construction will be completed quickly and the positive impact can be felt immediately. The optimal work of these public servants is needed by the community. So that they also know that in order for State Civil Apparatus to work optimally to serve the public, their basic needs such as housing must be provided. In the future, the construction of flats will continue to be carried out along with the increasing number of State Civil Apparatus assigned to the New Autonomous Region. The community will also feel helped because there are many public services with qualified human resources to take care of everything.
