Chairman of DPD RI Lays the First Stone, Marking the Construction of Dutch Football School and Vocational School Papua Bangkit

Sorong – Chairman of DPD RI, Ir. H. AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti laid the first stone of the construction of the Dutch Football School and SMK Papua Bangkit, in Suprau, Sorong City. This is a sign that the construction of the Dutch Football School and SMK Papua Bangkit will soon be carried out.

Based on the observation of this media, the laying of the first stone was also witnessed by many eyes, including the local community who were enthusiastic about the construction of the two schools. Please note, the high enthusiasm of the community is due to the minimal number of schools in the Suprau area. LaNyalla said that his presence in Sorong City was a form of his love for the land of Papua.

“I am here because I really love Papua. I believe this school can make a concrete and real contribution to giving birth to superior human resources in the world of education and sports in our beloved land of Papua. As well as being part of Southwest Papua’s support in welcoming the Golden Indonesia 2045,” LaNyalla said.

LaNyalla also admitted that he was moved to be present at the event, because he considered the groundbreaking to be a very historic thing and would be a moment to improve targeted human resources.

“One example of this SMK Papua Bangkit, where there are fields of expertise in energy and mining. That means, this SMK can be the answer to the comparative advantages of Papua, especially Southwest Papua in optimizing local Human Resources (HR), to engage in productive economic activities in the mining sector, “LaNyalla explained.

LaNyalla continued, human resource development is also certain to come from the world of sports that will be produced by the Dutch Foot Ball School. According to LaNyalla, football in Papua is like a second religion, because of the strong football DNA that is in the blood of indigenous Papuans. As evidence, he said, football players from Papua have never been absent from decorating the Indonesian National Football Team at various age levels.

“As the former Chairman of the PSSI National Team and former Chairman of PSSI, I have more respect for the players from Papua, rather than foreign football players who are contracted by clubs in Indonesia. Because our pride must remain with the nation’s children who were born and raised in their homeland. Because for me, the countries out there, which have football achievements, should be enough inspiration for us to learn, “said LaNyalla.

LaNyalla is very optimistic that in the future, there will be more black pearls born from Papua, following the names that have adorned the History of the Indonesian National Football Team. Like Boaz Solossa, Ortizan Solossa, Terens Puhiri, Patrick Wanggai, Titus Bonai, Okto Maniani, Yanto Basna to Ricky Kambuaya.

“All are black pearls born from Papua. Even Boaz and Ortizan are native sons of Sorong. All Papuan players are legendary,” LaNyalla said.

Meanwhile, the Founder of the Dutch Football School and SMK Papua Bangkit, Paul Fincen Mayor expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Chairman of DPD RI. Paul said, it was an honor for the Chairman of DPD RI to be present at the tip of Indonesia.
